Internet Scams

Recently I have put up my laptop for sale. I can't believe just how many scams came my way. Who in their right mind would think I would send the laptop out of the country when I explicitly stated local delivery only?????Once that went away, more scams came about. I was not born yesterday!!!
The one that really bugs me is this person actually believes I will send the laptop before receiving payment. See below.
Email rec'd from usps.service@ onlinepayment.com stating that payment would be released AFTER the laptop is shipped. They tried making this email look like it was from the USPS(which we all know isn't). See below:

This shows the email
address came from www.mail.com as they give out various
email address with different domain names like consultant.com
, deliveryman.com not to mention quite a few others.
Then the person who is trying to get my laptop sends this email:

Here is the shipping invoice you will need to insert
in the pouch.
==============================================================

Internet google
search on
Ipaja, 23401 NG comes up with links on
ebay scams and other scams.

Go figure!!!!

So I emailed this guy back stating that payment needs
to be received BEFORE laptop would be sent out. His reply:

I will like you to know that
you can not receive payment untill you have the item been shipped out...By so doing USPS will immediately send your payment to you.
Get back to me as soon as possibel......

My reply:
the ONLY way I will ship this out is to
RECEIVE payment first. This is the ONLY way I will do
business with you. The email from usps.service@
onlinepayment.com <caresupport@
deliveryman.com
> is NOT
from the USPS(caresupport@deliveryman.com is not a USPS email address).
I don't know what kind of scam you are pulling
but you aren't pulling one on me. Yahoo and email.com
(where caresupport@deliveryman.com
email address came from) have been notified of this scam.
I also did a search for where you want me to send the
laptop to and the very 1st link that came up is about EBAY scams.
This is not the 1st time someone has tried to scam me
out of my laptop. Like i said before, PAYMENT FIRST IS REQUIRED!!!!!
THIS IS NOT NEGOTIABLE!!!!

What kind of response will I get????

Update - 11/29/06 - no response from the email I sent. I guess I was right all along.
